I like getting new books. Sometimes, they open up new ways of thinking. What is the true story of Tristan and Isolde? It is very old. There are several old pictures, old romantic imaginings. Wagner composed an opera. Thank you to my friend Alan for his recent book. He introduces a new writer to me and a new version of the story as a drama. The writer, Arthur Symons, is a very neglected Anglo-Cornish poet and dramatist. His writing style is quite unusual, less conventional. He was a member of the Decadent Movement. He wanted designs by Aubrey Beardsley.
