How changeable the weather is! Sometimes we see sand, blown by a strong wind, and sometimes a bank of fog is rolling from the sea with a gentle wind. Then, we cannot see the sea. A short time after that the grey fog has gone and we see blue sky and white clouds. How pretty the clouds are! Some of them are striped like a mackerel. (Is there a connection between the words "striped" and "mackerel"? Which was the first?) There are other clouds like little balls of cottonwool (or sheep's fleece). Then, at night, the sky was cloudy again and we couldn't see the moon. It ought to have been a big full moon - a "super"-moon, Strawberry Moon. (It's not really red!)
