The sun is hot between the showers of rain, and the sea and sky are blue again. "There's a ten percent chance of rain," said my husband. The children played in the garden and we walked with the puppy. The puppy should not walk too far, but it is very inquisitive. It could not resist jumping into the little stream (though there is not a lot of water in it) and sniffing something out. Will it be a good scent-hound? What can it smell? Is it a bad smell? The sweet wallflowers were of no interest to it.
