I love plants, especially trees and shrubs (though I do not have a shrubbery). I like many trees, every kind of tree. Sometimes I grow a little tree from a seed. There are little seeds and big seeds. The biggest seed doesn't always come from the biggest tree, and vice versa. Pine cones are "fruits" of a pine tree. They are big, but their seeds are small. Naked seeds develop on the surface of scales or leaves that make up the cones. Cones are not real fruits. I have grown some trees from seeds, and now they are big enough to bear their own pine cones. There are many dead flowers on this hydrangea bush. They do not fall down in the winter, with the dead leaves, but they have no seeds. I grew this bush with a piece cut from another bush - a cutting. The lilac bush was also a cutting. The bay tree grew from a seed lost by a bird.
