The sky is a faded grey today as I look through my window. The air is full of moisture. I do not want to go out (though, earlier,  I did pick dandelions for the rabbits). I need colour. I like art and I like art galleries. I'd like to go to Tate St Ives, but I can't. So, I'll look at images on their website. I am looking for colours. There are colourful fantasy landscapes by Petrit Halilaj, as well as blocks of colour by Marlow Moss and Roger Hilton. Is the hanging canvas by Sam Gilliam a landscape or a likeness of the land in shape and colour? Alfred Wallis is much loved. He was a poor fisherman, like William Bodinar. He recorded the St Ives he was familiar with on scraps of board and wood with marine paint. These were not fantasy.
