Autumn
is full of toadstools. They are found under trees. They like dead leaves and
tree roots. Sometimes, they are small and numerous, perhaps in several hundreds.
(I did not count!) They are also found in fields and then they can be very big
and few. In a few days we will have the first day of winter, but there are
still summery flowers. Here are yellow corn marigolds. Is a yellow gorse bush a
summery flower? Does gorse ever stop flowering? And there's a heartsease too -
very, very small.
