I cannot see the moon tonight because the sky is too cloudy. It should be big and bright. There will be a full moon on Wednesday - called a "Hunter's Moon". That is the first full moon in autumn. There is a brilliant image on NASA's website. The gibbous moon is waxing. I took a photo several nights ago, but it is not clear. My hand wobbled! I don't have a tripod. Rod Lyon went to an observatory and took a very clear photo of part of the moon. The diameter of the Copernicus crater is 93km.
