Ma'n havyjy ow qwaytyas warlergh awel deg.

Are you old? Avoid Newquay! A great horde of young people has arrived for a music festival. The festival was begun forty years ago to celebrate surfing, but now the music has become more important. Music? What sort of music is that? Is there an adequate word in Cornish for "rock", "indie rock", "alternative rock" or "dance"? Certainly, we could say "alternative rock" and "dance" - but "indie"? Perhaps "independent" or "free". It's not my favourite genre. Is there a band from Cornwall in the list of players? The best thing is the place, by the sea, with the beautiful view above the sea. The site can be very windy for tents. The visitors are hoping for good weather.
