Storm Evert came in the night. There was a strong, noisy wind. Lots of leaves and lots of apples were blown down. I'll make an apple pie tomorrow. My daughter abandoned her little camping holiday one day early. Her family spent the night snuggly within four house walls. Some campers were not so lucky. Their tents were destroyed. Some people had to be rescued from yachts in the dark. However, the wind was good for drying washed clothes today.
