I like food with beautiful bright colours. I like eating it and preparing it. Some colours are good for your health – for eyes, for skin, for immunity. In Lily's yesterday we ate red soup and green soup and colourful salads. Today I made yellow jam. I usually make red jam or else yellow jam. I had too much apple in my freezer (from the autumn), therefore I made use of some of it. (I need the space.) But apples need more flavour – thus there are lemons and ginger. The weather is not very good today, so I am glad to stay indoors. There are hail-stones on the glass roof of the porch, along with dead leaves and ash tree “keys”. The spider prefers staying indoors as well.
