Here's a picture of a church gate in Cornwall, in good weather, with a text in the Cornish language. But here is the same gate after Storm Darragh. A big tree has fallen on it; so raised in 1881, but brought down in 2024. There are tree branches on the ground and roots in the air. In our lane there are only leaves - but they come indoors. Our young bitch would like to chase blown leaves - she will drive us mad!
