April is an interesting month in my family. For example, my mother-in-law was born in Treyew in Truro - 105 years ago on this day. She had two sisters, one older and the other younger. Two of them never went far from Truro but the youngest travelled to Africa with her husband. There was great sisterhood between the sisters and all the sisters-in-law. Where is their house in Treyew? It's no longer there. It was demolished to make way for County Hall. Perhaps the foundations are under the staff carpark! The owls are gone from the chimney too. There was a well for water in "well field" near the railway. (It's the field by "Fox Corner".) Water for County Hall comes in a pipe.
