Today we needed to walk to the village. Some
medicine was necessary from the dispensary. The weather was very nice and there
were many people about - walking with dogs and children, cycling and horse
riding. The village was full of people on foot, cars and lots of gleaming motor-bikes. The
unnecessary shops were still closed. It's not possible to buy nick-nacks!
Nobody needs trinkets and souvenirs yet. You can buy pasties - ten of them for
£28 in the butchers, but £2 dearer by the beach. Pasties are vital in Cornwall!
One ice cream parlour is still closed, but you can get an ice cream with your
pasty or fish and chips. The pub is closed till May. And this carpark is closed too.
