There are lots of streams in this area. I have found several of them as I was rambling around. I heard this one yesterday before I saw it. It's very small because there wasn't much rain recently. It gets bigger as it goes towards the sea. Today we walked a new route again, and found another stream. Is it the very same stream? Where is this stream? Can you see huge stones? That is the clue! The stream runs under the old rail viaduct. The masons in 1903 were very skilled. It is built on difficult ground. The new cycle track will run on it. How will the bicycles reach it? The footpath crosses the stream by a wooden footbridge. As we walked further we could see an old engine house, completely overgrown with ivy, unlike West Chiverton Mine. This is New Chiverton!
