The sea is one or two miles from this position. I don't see the sea today because it's the same colour as the sky from a distance. From the beach the sea is darker. Before now, this year I hadn't seen a single frog. But what is happening? Today I saw two frogs, but they are both dead – hit and killed by cars. That one was only a few feet from a little river. (It couldn't swim in this river because it's too fast.) But this one is in the village near to a care home, several yards from a different river and the sea. I don't know where the frogs came from. Life and death – I prefer to write about life.This tree is dead but there is much green lichen growing on it.
