Sometimes there are no buses and we can't go to town. Perhaps the road is obstructed and the traffic must take a different route. (I saw a woman move the cones to pass, but that's not possible for a bus!) Sometimes a bus is delayed - there is a detour (because of major road-works). Sometimes there is no driver because of sickness. However, tomorrow there will be no driver on many "First" buses. Drivers are angry with the company. Shareholders received £500 million, but the company is  offering drivers only £12 per hour wages.
