Ivy is growing in hedges, and that is good for wild bees (hairy bees). Flowers are finished in the garden but there are still some flowers in the hedge providing nectar and pollen. There's food in hedges for birds too. They will eat rose hips and berries if the ground is too hard to look for earthworms. Rose hips last longer than blackberries. Some blackberries are already mouldy.
