I am not
brave. I looked at the weather and decided to stay in the house. There is no
snow here but it is bitterly cold. The cats won't go out. I feel pity for the
lambs. Words of a Christmas song by Christina Rossetti come to mind. "In
the bleak midwinter, frosty wind made moan. Earth stood hard as iron, water
like a stone." The birds' water is solid, for sure. I haven't got my own
photos again, but there are marvellous photos on the Internet (especially mymodernmet.com). There are some
excellent photographers in the world. They have skill, they know the best places (deserts, mountains, active volcanoes). They have great patience to wait for the exact moment. Here are images of the
Milky Way. I could never take photos like this in a million years!
