I do not like this month, not one bit! Today there are gusts of cold wind. The weather won't be better tomorrow. Perhaps the weather will improve, bit by bit. Probably the weather in April will be better. The days in April will certainly be longer and the sun will be higher in the sky, and stronger. I prefer April. Many years ago my wedding was in April (though I was wearing a long woolly dress).

Deg ger rag hedhyw. Ten words for today

a vedh will be (present-future of bos to be, we do not use wra bos)

cowasow gwens (pl.) gusts of wind < cowas wens (f) (SWFM kowas wyns)

creffa stronger < crev strong (SWFM krev)

dres lycklod probably, more than likely

gwelhe ~ gwelha to improve, get better < gwell better

hirra longer (time) < hir long

martesen ~ metesen perhaps (pronunciation stress on -tes- allows variation in the first, unstressed, syllable)

tabm ha tabm gradually, bit by bit (SWFM tamm ha tamm)

tabm veth at all, not a bit (SWFM tamm vyth)

ûhelha higher < ûhel high
