There are changes in Truro now. There is demolition in Pydar Street - the Council's old offices are disappearing - pulled down. There is a project for the regeneration of the whole area. Perhaps it will be finished in the year 2030 - permanent houses for families, temporary accommodation for university students, new offices, shops, a university centre. Will I see the finished development? I'll be more than eighty years old. Perhaps I'll be able to live in a house. Perhaps my grandchild will be one of the university students. And the cost of the development? £170 million (or more?)
