London is sweltering, but here the night is not too hot. There is fog, from the sea, in my garden. This morning the lawn was full of cobwebs sparkling with tiny dewdrops after a foggy night. We walked near five houses for sale in one hour. One of them has an estate agent's board by its gate. Most of them are empty second homes or houses for rent. One is "cash buyers only" - because it has "mundic" in it. Two of them have swimming pools.
