On Thursday as I was coming home, after going to the dentist, I heard a sound in our neighbours' field. It wasn't the noise of animals, and it wasn't our neighbours. It was noisy machinery. It was workmen doing work on the trees by the high voltage electricity lines. There were strong winds in the last storm that blew some trees down, with damage to electricity lines. Therefore the trees should not grow too tall. There will be more storms and we do not want to lose our electricity again. (Though we do have candles and a camping stove!) They have chainsaws.
