What a grey day this is! The sky is faded. There's not a bit of blue. It doesn't matter! There's enough colour in Camborne: red, green, yellow. It's Trevithick Day, and that means steam engines and steam rollers. They are painted and polished, bright colours, with gleaming copper and brass. There is noise too, apart from the steam. Brass bands and bands of other instruments are playing music for dancing and singing. There's a big crowd, people young and old (a large part of them eating pasties).
