Truro? I haven’t been there for many months. Christmas is coming, and usually the illuminations in the streets were switched on, on the third Wednesday in November. Also, there was a procession of lanterns. But this year, life’s not like that. There’s no permission to congregate in the streets. The city is empty. Therefore, last night there was a virtual switch on, by the town crier. There are no new lanterns but there are many new lights. Look at a splendid cathedral. It sparkles. And there are angels flying above the streets. I saw it on Facebook.
