We had a beautiful day today. We went to the coast and walked along part of the coastal footpath in sunshine. Now my face is sunburnt – unexpected in November. The waves here are beloved by surfers. We saw the old lifeboat station. It's not used nowadays. It had a very steep slipway down the cliff. We saw a white hut – a lookout place for a shoal of pilchards in the olden days. It was low tide, therefore it was possible to walk in the harbour.
