There are lots of mountains in northern Italy. In winter there is a lot of snow on them. They are very suitable for skiing and sliding in the Olympic Games, but they are not so good for skating. In Cornwall, near St Austell, there is only one mountain, and there is no snow on it. It is not any good for skiing or sliding. In the past there were more of them in the China Clay District, but they were dangerous. The tops were taken away. Is it possible to remove mountains? These were mineral waste from the clay pits, mostly white sand and stones. Now there is only The Great Treverbyn Tip. There's the black and white flag of Cornwall on the top. Watch "Captain Cornish" as he walks to the flag. He couldn't ski down again.
