Towns are noisy and the countryside is quiet and peaceful. Is that true? It's not true here! I am nine or ten miles from any town. It's quiet for the animals. They can lie down and hang around and be lazy, in the house and in the garden. But there were people working in the fields. In the morning I could hear a tractor or other farm machine. That was noisy. Then in the afternoon and evening I heard lots of bangs. Is that a bird scarer, a scarecrow with a bang? Or is somebody hunting wild rabbits with a gun? My rabbits are hiding.
