I saw mud every day this week. I saw estuary mud in Truro because the tide was low. I saw estuary mud in Penryn as well. In our neighbours' field there is mud because the little stream is running again, but the pond isn't filled yet. It needs more rain.

On Wednesday in the evening I waited at a leafy bus-stop and saw the moon through the hedge. On Saturday in the morning I waited at the same leafy bus-stop and saw the sun through the hedge. Today was a great day for my family. I went to Falmouth for a meeting with a group of writers. And the little boy went to a little zoo for a meeting with some animals. I wrote some little stories and he handled lizards and other reptiles. He was not frightened at all.
Tabm gerva nowydh. A bit of new vocabulary
cramvil (m) reptile (creeping animal)
delyek leafy
eneval (m) animal (can also use best or mil)

There were two minutes of silence at eleven o'clock today. Today, we remember the end of the First World War - the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.

A full moon was shining through the trees as I waited for the bus in the darkness. Could I be seen? I was dressed in a black coat, but I had a white scarf. Fortunately, the bus came to the bus-stop and I went to the Art Society meeting. Joe Armstrong, a popular artist, did a picture for us in oil colours. First, he spread a blue/green background with a palette knife. Second, he blended several colours with his fingers. He used one finger to put them on the canvas - here and there - with a palette knife to make a few straight lines. The colours are not true - they are from imagination. But, behold an engine house on the cliff.

I do not like being old! I walked several miles yesterday and now I am stiff. However, I took some photographs in Truro. Truro is getting ready for Christmas. That is of no interest for the birds on the restaurant and river mud.

I have to go to town this afternoon. My granddaughter needs a visit from me. She doesn't have Internet, so I must write now. I need to write a lesson for children. One little girl wants to talk about animals. I will look for suitable images before I go out. The smallest animal is, perhaps, a single cell in pond water. The biggest animal in sea water is a whale.
