Na whath otta descans bian.

I'm an absent-minded old woman. I have lost my new camera again and my old camera has low battery. I hide things from the little boy, then I forget their location! Where are they? He is full of mischief and a little destroyer. Everything must be out of his reach. We have lovely daffodils. The primroses are coming. But I cannot take photos.

However, here's a little lesson.

Building up our Cornish language. Part 13a

Cressya emann agan tavas Kernôwek. Radn 13a

When we are using verbs, we need to describe them.
In the same  way that nouns have their adjectives, verbs have their adverbs.
They  tell us where, how, when, how often and how the verbs are carried  out. They build up the way we can use our verbs.

Where? Pe le? Pele? Ple?
In answer to Pele ma'n kei? Where is the dog? we might say
Ma'n kei òbma. The dog is here

Nag üjy an kei ena. The dog is not there

Üjy an kei en tre? Is the dog at home

Ma va a-dre. He's away from home

Talking about a location uses bos locative.

For most answers involving a position you need a preposition

Pele ma'n gath? Where is the cat?

Ma hei war an bord. She is on the table.

Ma hei dadn an bord. She is under the table.

Ma hei reb an bord. She is beside the table.

Ma hei a-dhelher dhe'n bord. She is behind the table.

Ma hei derag an bord. She is in front of the table.

Ma'n gath en kisten. The cat is in a box.

Ma'n gath a-ves dhe'n chei. The cat is outside of the house.

Ma hei a-jei dhe gisten. She is inside a box.

Sometimes direction is involved:

Ma'n kei ow pònya bys en lowarth.

The dog is running into a garden.

Ma scath ow còlya dherag an gwens.

A boat is sailing before the wind.

Thera nei ow kerdhes tûa'n noor.

We are walking towards the north.
