The
weather was not bright today but neither was it cold. The air was damp. The rain
fell diagonally. The beach was empty (almost). Nevertheless, I went to Falmouth
to meet my friends. I had written a story with a thousand words to discuss.
Your heroine is not very interesting! She doesn’t do anything! She needs to say
more! What is she like? What is her function in the plot? Perhaps I must write
it again.
