Do you look at roofs? Or are your eyes always looking downwards? Roofs can be new or old, and made of miscellaneous materials. This little church has a very new roof. The roof is not very beautiful but it will keep the congregation dry. I like a scantle slate roof. This one is in St Agnes. Every slate is small. You need a skilled craftsman to make a new one or to repair an old one. New or old? These gulls don’t care a bean. There are not enough cliffs nearby, so they are happy to sit on a roof, any roof.
