There are some happy girls today in Birmingham. They are Cornish girls and they are successful in the Games. They competed for England. Molly Caudery from Illogan is a pole-vault athlete. She vaulted 4.45 metres for a silver medal. Merryn Doidge plays rugby football in a team of seven players (as a back). She needs to wear a head protector. There wasn't a medal, but England beat Scotland for 5th place.
