The night is dark. There is only a small moon tonight. It is only about 5% illuminated. The new moon was two nights ago. I can’t see the moon, anyway – it is too cloudy. The weather today was bad – I didn’t go out (except for a little walk in the garden with the dogs). There is a flood by the front door. I had to use the side door. The rain and wind have brought down lots of dead leaves – all the launders (gutters) and drains are blocked. I’ve got to go out tomorrow. The weather will be better, I hope.
