The sunrise traverses the land from London to Cornwall. Therefore the people in London see the sun earlier than we see it: six o'clock in London against seventeen minutes after six in Perranporth. And night comes later in Cornwall, too. But when is sunset? Is the sun gone completely from view? No! We can see it for two minutes after it has gone beyond the horizon.
