Da ew genam scrifa gwersyow. Nag o vy prydedhes fîn ha nag ew ow gwersyow prydydhieth afînys. Gwell via genam scrifa cânow, saw na wörama composa an mûsik. Nag o vy scrifores mûsik. Calish ew cawas rîmys rag nebes geryow. Ellama remembra rîmys? Na ellama remembra poran. Saw "didhan" ew rîm rag "poran" (moy po le). "Godhan" ew rîm aral, bes fatel ellama y ûsya? An pictour ew godhan brith.

I like to write verses. I am not a fine poetess and my verses are not refined poetry. I would prefer to write songs, but I don't know how to compose the music. I am not a composer. It's hard to get rhymes for some words. Can I remember rhymes? I can't remember exactly. But "amusing" is a rhyme for "exactly" (more or less). "Moth" is another rhyme, but how can I use it? The picture is a peppered moth.

Ma whans dhebm a scrifa neppeth didhan.

Oll an bes a wra kemeres sowdhan.

Bes pandra dhe scrifa? Ple ma ow sens a dhidhan?

Na ellama remembra poran.

I want to write something amusing.

All the world will be taken by surprise.

But what to write? Where is my sense of humour?

I can't remember exactly.
