This photo is very old - more than half a century old. It's my wedding to my handsome Cornishman. I was a student and he was a technician in a medical laboratory. There's an old saying (for good fortune) - something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. My veil was borrowed from the wife of another student. My sister made a new dress for me. I chose wool because the weather was cold. My sister made a beautiful cake, too. My sister was gifted, very gifted. I can't remember the blue thing, and probably there were many old things (we didn't have a lot of money). In the photo my new husband has a neck tie with Cornish colours - black and gold.
