Is there enough food for all the big and little animals? There's a bit of food in the hedges. We picked a few blackberries - but there are more of them coming. Do animals like blackberries - perhaps badgers eat them? We found a crab apple tree. The apples are not ripe yet, but there were some fallen fruits on the footpath. My grandson wanted to make an apple and blackberry crumble. We couldn't make use of this apple. It was  a home (and food) for several woodlice! There are not a lot of apples on a tree in our garden, and they are not very good. Wasps like rotten apples.
