The Earth only has a limited atmosphere. It is not infinite; it is 100 km in depth, rather more with the exosphere. There is carbon dioxide in the atmosphere; this is good for the growth of green plants, but too much is not good for the climate. More trees are needed. Every tree cut down is a loss to the world. The loss of trees can produce desertification. The desertification of large parts of the Earth has already happened and the speed of this process is increasing. Every tree makes oxygen. We need oxygen to breathe. We need ozone too. The ozone layer is our protection from ultraviolet rays. We should not use CFCs.
