Today, the sea was greyer than the road. Finally the road was dry. The sun shone but the wind was still cold. We walked in the morning to the church. The churchyard is very pretty. We didn't say our daily prayers. The church was used as a place to vote. This month is very good for lilac. There's a wild lilac bush in the hedge, and in my garden too. But I saw a better lilac bush in a public garden in Truro. I had to go there for the dentist in the afternoon.
