In my story, several peculiar things are found in a trunk in the attic. Granny gives the things to her granddaughters for the school fair. Should Granny give these odd things to anybody? Perhaps they are even more strange than their appearance. Will the girls take the white elephants and the black clothes to school for the fair? What will happen? And will the tomcat come back?

Ow Cavas Olifanjes Gwydn Finding White Elephants
Dadn an dilhas ma taclow erel, mar lies tra. Thera nei ow kemeres marth pothew neppeth kevys gen Mabm Wydn - na üdn olifans en üdnek saw dew olifans. Under the clothes there are other things. We are surprised when Granny has found something - not only one elephant but two elephants.
Nag ew anjei gwydn poran, ha nag ens brâs na neyl. Bian ens ha nebes melyn. They are not exactly white, and neither are they big. They are small and rather yellow.
“Thew an olifans-ma gwrês a dhans olifans.” This elephant is made of ivory.
“Saw, hedna ew banys, anan?” But that's banned, isn't it?
“Cübmyes ewa mothew coth lowr.” It's allowed if it's old enough.
“Ha ew hebma coth?” And is this old?
“Entei. Hemm ew pur goth.” Certainly. This is very old.
“Ha’n olifans aral?” And the other elephant?
“Gwrês a blastyk ew hedna.” That's made of plastic.
Coynt ew an dhew olifans. Ma garrow hir ha tanow dhe’n olifans dans olifans, ha dhe’n olifans plastyk ma scovornow brâs avel an re Dumbo. Ma mir hager dhodhans, ort ow breus vy. The two elephants are weird. The ivory elephant has long thin legs, and the plastic elephant has big ears like Dumbo's. They look ugly to my mind.
“Teg ens!” Henn ew Rosa. “Da ew genam an olifanjes-ma. Me a’s car anjei!”They're beautiful! That's Rosa. I like these elephants. I love them!
“Ma othom dhis a olifanjes gwydn rag an scol, anan, Rosa? Ha chy, Kettern? Eus othom dhiso jy a neppeth rag an scol?” You need white elephants for school, don't you, Rosie. And you, Katie? Do you need something for school?
“Dilhas coth. Pur vlewek.” Old clothes. Very boring.
“My a wra whilas. Martesen an re ma a via da lowr. Nag ens re vlewek. Thera anjei lies bledhen war an wariva. Dhe les ens. Tas vy o hüdor a’n wariva. Nag eus othom dhodho anodhans. Ev a verwas.” I'll have a look. Perhaps these would be alright. They're not too boring. They were on the stage for many years. They're interesting. My father was a theatrical magician. He doesn't need them. He died.
Ew Mabm Wydn nebes grevys gans hy thas? Da via genam godhvos. An dilhas ew hott hir dû ha mantel dhû. Thew an dhew nebes skith ha podnek, bes da en jei genam. Lebmyn my ew maga lôwen avel Rosa. Is Granny a bit annoyed with her father? I'd like to know. The clothes are a black top hat and a black cloak. They are both a bit worn out and dusty, but I like them. Now I am as happy as Rosa.
