Today, I listened to a lecture online by Cornish woman, Lesley Trotter. She is an expert in family history research. She can help people with their family tree. And she is knowledgeable of the history of Cornwall. She has written a book, "The Married Widows of Cornwall" - the wives were left behind when their husbands, miners, went overseas. You can see the book in the pile. (There are many books about the history of Cornish men and women in other countries.) And Lesley has a website
