I saw a picture on Facebook. It was an illustration of a vessel - the State Barge of St Michael's Mount. The picture was painted in 1891, but the boat is older. The boat can be rowed by four or six rowers. There's still a boat of that sort. It was built initially in 1740 in Cornwall of Cornish elm. It was among the vessels in the pageant for the Queen's Jubilee on the River Thames, with other boats from Cornwall.
