What a dark day! What a grey day! The sea is grey today and the sky is grey too. The weather is quite cold and there is quite bad news too. In London the Chancellor gave the Autumn Statement. The country is in recession, with spiralling debt. He must stabilise the economy and calm the financial markets. There will be tax rises and spending cuts. How will all this affect Cornwall? More council tax in April?
