"E vedh glaw moy hanath, gen taran ha luhes," a warnyas an radyo. Martesen e vedh gwell avorow. Ma othom dhen a voydya del dhort agan londrys - tagys ens.

Early in the morning the air was quiet and it was possible to hear the sea in the distance. There was sun and there wasn't any wind for a short while. Later, clouds covered the sun and the wind got up. I couldn't hear the sea any more, there was only the wind in the trees. After that the rain came, with a vengeance! In Falmouth, the water was running in the street. "There will be more rain tonight, with thunder and lightning" warned the radio. Perhaps it will be better tomorrow. We need to clear leaves out of our launders - they are choked.
