I'm not in my house tonight. I'm a babysitter. I'm in Truro. The town is more noisy than my house. I can hear cars in the road, trains on the railway, neighbours talking and stamping around. There is more light outside. In my house I can only see one street lamp in the distance. Here there are many lamp posts. There are other buildings as well with lighted windows. It's a wet night and the windows and lamps are reflected in the puddles. Last night, as I was looking at the moon I heard owls and I could smell cabbage. (There's a lot of cabbage in the surrounding fields.) There's neither owl nor cabbage here!
