I didn't need to vote today, so I went to the seaside. The sun shone, but the wind was cold. In the distance, from Tolcarne Beach, we saw the old lifeboat station and the slipway. They are no longer used. The lifeboat now is near the harbour. We saw one boat in the shadow of the Atlantic Hotel (four-star), but it wasn't a lifeboat (too small). Birds don't need a big hotel. There are lots of seabirds and jackdaws making their nests on ledges in the cliffs, among the beautiful flowers. The cliffs are at their best in May. Look at these wild flowers - pink and white.
