I like some words in the dialect of Cornwall. They come from the language and can be used to resurrect the language. I like the sound, and sometimes they describe the thing very well. This month is "slottery". As I was walking along the lane today I splashed in slottery puddles and slipped in slottery patches of clay or slime. The sweet flowers by the lane didn't escape (skeeze) either.
