Hedhyw my a venja madra "parkow" ha "prasow". Pras aswonys et ta ew Pras an Bibel (Praze an Beeble". Perhednyon an pras o teylû St Aubyn. Anjei a dherevas tre vian rag aga thüs. Whath ell pibell bos gwelys en fenten. Nag eus teylû lebmyn, bes ma tavern! War mappa coth, whei ell gweles lies gwel ha lies pras oll adro dhe'n dre.

I am thinking of place names again, names with words for "field". Yesterday I wrote about strip-fields and Thursday past I wrote about names with open fields. Today I'd like to study enclosures and meadows. A well-known meadow is the field with the conduit or pipe. The owners of the field were the St Aubyn family. They built a little village for their people. A pipe can still be seen in a well. There isn't a family now, but there is a pub! On an old map you can see many fields and many meadows all around the village.
