This is a footpath sign. It's a footpath downhill through the little wood. It's a shortcut for us towards the road opposite. But today we can't use it because it is blocked by a fallen tree. The ivy on it is very heavy and the ground is very weak because of the rain. We must wait for the parish council to cut it away. In Truro there is a road blocked by workmen. I don't know why! Perhaps they are burying new pipes in the ground. There are warning signs in bright colours. There is a diversion for the cars.
