Today I have a bad leg (I have pulled a muscle), therefore I cannot walk to the bus stop and I didn't go out. In the morning there was mist or light drizzle from the sea, but in the afternoon there is bright sun. It was too cold for me then, but it is too hot for me now. I am a very awkward person! The dogs do not want to go for a long walk. We all walked very slowly round the garden. The lawn has been cut by my husband. We saw several things on the grass. There are lots of little green apples under an apple tree, but there are still some bigger apples in the tree. There is a black and white feather on a bank. It has fallen from a magpie. And what is this unlucky little animal? It has a long muzzle. It's a shrew. Was she drowned by rain - or is the tomcat a mouser?
